I grew up with train sets and that hobby taught me simple electronics and crafting. I have always enjoyed working with my hands and remember that my favorite class in middle school was shop. I entered college to study computer engineering and took a few electronics and logic classes before changing my degree to computer science. Today, I love to tinker and enjoy crafting and building things in my shop. I also like to create algorithmic art. The Pixel Panel project has been a great opprotunity to combine my woodworking, electronics, and programming interests.

My other passions are hiking, windsurfing, practicing guitar, and playing tennis. I have a great wife who has been my best friend and we have dedicated years to raising and enjoying our two kids who are now in college.
